Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage, also commonly referred to as Part C, provides Medicare beneficiaries with the same coverage as Original Medicare and may include additional benefits. There are several Advantage Plans to choose from: HMO, PPO, MSA, PFFS, & SNP.
Medicare Supplements
Medicare Supplements, often referred to as Medigap, supplement Original Medicare by covering costs such as coinsurance, copayments, and deductibles. You can choose from any of the ten plans: A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, and N, but keep in mind that each plan covers a different percentage of out-of-pocket costs.
Prescription Drug Coverage
Medicare Part D is Medicare’s prescription drug coverage plan. If you are enrolled in Original Medicare, you can purchase Part D as a standalone plan. With Medicare Advantage, you can enroll in a plan that offers prescription drug coverage as an added benefit. Your Senior Insurance can help you determine if a Part D plan offers the coverage you need.
